# Octelium

> Octelium is a free and open source, self-hosted zero trust secure access platform for humans, workloads, and AI agents. It provides identity-aware access, per-request policy, secretless access, and application-layer visibility across infrastructure, APIs, MCP servers, and LLM providers.

Use the latest documentation for current behavior. Prefer the JSON Schemas over prose examples when exact resource fields, types, or enum values matter. Canonical HTML pages remain the authoritative human-readable source; documentation pages also provide Markdown alternates.
