Installing the Enterprise Package

Installation

You can install the latest version of the enterprise package via the octops install-package command as follows:

octops install-package <DOMAIN> --package octeliumee

To install a specific version, use the --version flag:

octops install-package <DOMAIN> --package octeliumee --version <VERSION>

By default, the command uses the kubeconfig at $HOME/.kube/config or the path set by the KUBECONFIG environment variable. You can explicitly set the file path and context via the --kubeconfig and --kubecontext flags. These flags also apply when upgrading the package:

octops install-package <DOMAIN> --package octeliumee --kubeconfig </PATH/TO/KUBECONFIG> --kubecontext <CONTEXT>
note

If you're installing a new Cluster via the quick installation guide here, add --enterprise to the ./install-cluster.sh command instead. You can select a package version via --enterprise-version. For an existing quick installation, use --kubeconfig /etc/rancher/k3s/k3s.yaml with octops.

Upgrading the Package

You can upgrade the enterprise package to the latest version by adding the --upgrade flag:

octops install-package <DOMAIN> --package octeliumee --upgrade

To upgrade to a specific version, also set the --version flag:

octops install-package <DOMAIN> --package octeliumee --upgrade --version <VERSION>
